I was incredibly honored to be asked to design wedding invitations for some of my dear friends, Mallory and Eamon. Their wedding took place in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, and with the groom being from Vermont, they both wanted to include references to mountains in the invitations. I also incorporated their colors, a gorgeous palette of soft greens and blues, in the final design.
Mallory and Eamon are so special to me and I really wanted to go all out and make sure their invitations felt really personal for them. I hand-painted the mountains with watercolor and hand-lettered all the calligraphy before importing into photoshop to manipulate the assets into the final design. The design was later used for signage throughout the wedding as well.
