In early 2016, I was given the opportunity to create a wall wrap for display on the wall leading to the entrance of one of our most exclusive VIP areas, the Etihad Airways Lounge. Working closely with our marketing and engineering teams, along with our printer, I was able to design a simple yet impactful design that brought life to a dark space and tied into a consistent theme throughout the arena.
Space prior to art. The space had to be meticulously measured and designed, as no railings or electrical boxes could be relocated for the installation of the art. The various textures of the walls created additional challenges I had to be mindful of.
